
Beginning the Journey
I know from personal experience, just how difficult it can be to begin therapy​ and it takes great courage to reach out and take the first steps. My emphasis is on providing enough support for you commence this process and a safe and confidential environment from which we can build an effective relationship that supports deeper exploration of the challenges you are facing in your life.

Contracting
​
It is important to set out the boundaries of our working relationship so that all parties feel secure in the process of embarking of a therapeutic relationship. My standard and brief written contract is available for viewing below, however I am happy to set out the general contents of this verbally when we first meet, and to discuss anything which might be of concern to you

Fees ​
Sessions for individual therapy are priced at £50.
Please make payment at the time of the therapy either by bank transfer or cash.

Cancellations​
Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel a session.

About Privacy and Confidentiality
I take the responsibility for the storage and management of personal data very seriously, and from a legal and ethical perspective it is essential that personal data is management very carefully. I comply fully with the provisions of the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 (GDPR).
Moreover I consider it essential that clients entering into therapy with me can feel secure in thew knowledge that their confidentiality is fully respected and that the working relationship we form is founded on a respect, trust and secure boundaries.

I retain digital details of contact names for the duration of the time I work with clients. All contact details, case notes and contracts are held on an encrypted digital off-line storage system for a period of 7 years. After this period all evidence of work carried out is destroyed. I am also registered with the Information Commissioners Office.

What if a data breach happens?
​In the event of any data breach occurring, you should contact the Information Commissioners Office, the UK regulatory office for upholding the provisions of the 2018 Act and regulations.
